Take a moment and think that if a man was tweeting a female celebrity and saying things like “omg sit on my face mummy xxx”, everyone would be crying sexual harassment and misogyny and objectification? It’s not ok just because you’re both women.
Take a moment and think that Mandip and Jodie are real people who are really friends, and that Mandip is having to deal with hundreds of people making inappropriate sexual comments about them when they’re literally just doing their job?
Take a moment and think that Mandip is actually going to see her mentions, and see all the accounts, and see all these (sometimes really quite young) women saying very sexually inappropriate things about her, and how they’d feel in the same situation?
